The entire piece is painted in black shiny lacquer and the faces of each chest is inlayed with mother of pearl detail designs of flowers, birds, etc.
Each chest has two doors that open towards you with sliding doors within.
Each chest is unique.
The top chest is crowned with moulding.
The lower chest has simple legs and three drawers.
Although the pieces look heavy, each chest is light (may be made of traditional palownia wood that Korean furniture is historically made of).
