What You’ll Get to Do:
The Media Design Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of experienced professionals that are designing, developing, and creating innovative media elements for the training developed under the Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning effort for the Fire Controlman Aegis (FCA).
Tasks will include:
Reviewing the development of 2D/3D images, videos, and complex PC Simulations.
Must have experience using Adobe Creative Suite tools, Autodesk 3D Max, and familiarity with Unity.
Responsible for tracking assignments, coordinating photoshoots, supporting customer design meetings, as well as conceptualization of media content.
More About the Role:
Review Government Furnished Information.
Review training content requirements and provide input to Instructional Designers.
Review and approve development schedules.
Lead design meetings with SMEs and Instructional Designers.
Plan and support location video/photo shoots.
Review photos, videos, 2D and 3D still images, and complex animations.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Experience managing multi-functional teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience interacting with management and customer organizations at all levels.
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Substance Painter, Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder).
Experience with Autodesk 3D Max.
Prior experience working with a training team developing complex media.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Prior experience working on Sailor 2025 RRL Projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in team environments.
Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
General understanding of SCORM and Learning Management Systems.
