Ophthalmic Technician

Southside Eye Care, located in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake, is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician / Assistant to perform primary workup of our patients.
Basic skill set requirements include: visual assessment, refractometry, Goldmann tonometry, manual lensometry and slit lamp evaluation.
Applicants are expected to learn our EHR if unfamiliar with it and should demonstrate strong work ethic, be reliable, present a professional appearance, use time-management and detail oriented organizational skills.
Applicants must be capable of working independently as well as being a good team player.
High school diploma required and strong computer skills preferred.
