Medical Biller

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and ensuring timely reimbursement.
Duties: - Utilize knowledge of medical billing, coding, and collections to interact with insurance companies and patients.
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim statuses, payments, or denials.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
- Update patient accounts with payment or denial information.
Qualifications: - Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10 coding.
- Experience in medical billing, coding, or collections within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and electronic health record systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers.
