GENERAL SUMMARY
The Occupational Health RN provides nursing care and health services to employees through a comprehensive occupational health program.
Travel to offsite facilities required.
Reports to the manager or director of occupational health staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, develops and organizes services and activities to support the organizational mission.
Seeks guidance from management when necessary.
Demonstrates accountability for daily operations of program.
Provides excellent customer service.
Assists with departmental performance improvement initiatives.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Current Virginia state license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program preferred.
At least two years of RN work experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record and meet insurance requirements of the organization.
HCP CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal clinical office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
