*CHKD is seeking a professional and caring *RN – Clinical Supervisor* to facilitate health and healing for our patients and their amazing families.
This role supports our *General Academic Pediatrics *primary care practice *located in our Children’s Pavilion on the 4th floor in Norfolk, VA*.
This position’s typical schedule is *full-time, days.
* Schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00a – 5:00p and may be required to cover late afternoon on occasion.
The RN - Clinical Supervisor is uniquely positioned to provide support and oversight to procedural nursing and clinical staff caring.
This position will work the clinical floor alongside our nursing staff.
In addition to the clinical responsibilities, the supervisor will have a range of administrative duties from vaccination and clinical supply inventory to managing clinical staff schedules.
Other administrative duties include assisting the practice manager with certain human resources functions such as in-service and training of staff.

* Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of an accredited School of Nursing.
* Technical and professional knowledge and skills for clinical operations of the service area, usually acquired through 3 - 5 years’ progressive Clinical/Supervisory experience in a practice setting *Health, Healing, and Hope for All Children.
