*Bon Secours Mercy Health* is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join surgical practice in bariatric surgical weight loss program! APC to provide support for bariatric medicine through the care of all bariatric patients including Medical Weight Loss management through medication and meal replacement products.
Ideal candidate should be comfortable with patient evaluation for surgical and non-surgical treatments and contraindications to medications due to comorbidities.
Schedule to include morning hospital rounding, see patients in clinic.
Providing education to patients, working with surgeons, dieticians, and clinical staff.

Fulltime - Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm
Call Schedule: No call required for APC’s.
Hospital Credentialing: Maryview Medical Center & Harbour View Hospital
Office locations: Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Suffolk
Average Patients per day: 16-22 all adult (early 20’s - mid 60’s)
EMR: EPIC inpatient and outpatient / E-Visits
Special Procedures: Lap band adjustments (training provided)
Teaching Opportunity: Providing education at weight loss seminars.
