Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems has an exciting opportunity for a mechanic shop assistant.
This position is responsible for performing various fundamental and technical tasks to help with shop operations and equipment repairs.
As a shop assistant, you will:
• Move equipment in and around the shop.
• Assist with shop maintenance, including cleaning floors, trash removal, etc.
• Assist with shop organization including equipment, tools, supplies, and parts.
• Assist service technicians with equipment repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Desire to learn and develop technical skills.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
