Position Overview:
As a Patient Transporter with Sentara, you will safely escort and transport patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics.
The Patient Transporter strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara.
You will be responsible for communicating clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients.
You will also ensure adequate communication of information between Central Transport and other departments.

Education Required:
High School Diploma

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Other/National w/in 90 days of hire
