Performs Laboratory Procedures; documents quality assurance American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) eligibility preferred upon hire, but eligibility and certification required within five years of hire.
Acceptable certificate program includes completion of NAACLS accredited Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) program.
Certification eligible applicants with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) may be considered in lieu of licensure.
