Job Summary
Provides Program Management support to NIWC LANT Fleet Installation Office (FIO).
Understands basics of the US Navy C4I systems architecture, installations, integration, and testing.
Provides program and project planning and coordination, schedule, and performance data.
Develops program schedules, Gantt charts, perform critical path analyses, and administrative duties as required.
Possesses strong communication skills and works with minimum supervision.
Telework is supported at 60%.
Travel is not required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Pulls information from SPIDER, and NDE databases to support the On-Site Installation Coordinator (OSIC), Platform Execution Manager (PEM), and Alteration Installation Team Manager (AITM) in initiation, planning, and execution.
Monitors schedules, identifies possible conflicts or problems, and makes recommendations for meeting milestone dates.
Develops Integrated Government Schedule, and Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) for FIO LANT installations.
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Must have at least five (5) years of experience with US Navy Command, C4I systems architecture, installation, integration, and testing.
Experience with Fleet Modernization process stakeholders and organizational relationships.
Ship Installation Drawings (SID’s), reviews and develops technical correspondence, reports, documents, drawings, and/or analyses.
Understands and effectively communicates technical aspects of tasks and exercises critical thinking and independent judgment dealing with urgency factors, changing priorities, and constraints in successful project execution.
Must have at least five (5) years of experience in MS Office Products including Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Must be knowledgeable of various MS Office operating systems and programs.
