Must be able to:
1.
Learn keyboard parts from original recordings of pop songs note for note.
2.
Play multiple parts live, and sequence what you can't (or create a backing track, etc.
).
3.
Import and trigger samples/one shots
4.
Any of the following are fair game:
a.
laying out in a song with no keyboard parts.
b.
covering all prominent keyboard parts - Piano, Electric Piano, Organ, Clav, etc.
c.
covering all prominent orchestral parts - Strings, Winds, Brass, Percussion, etc.
d.
covering all prominent synthesizer parts - Leads, Pads, Bass, Arpeggiator, etc.
e.
covering any special effects - Imported Samples, Percussion not playable live, etc.
f.
covering rhythm guitar parts (with keys, but if you play guitar too, great!) if necessary, only where possible (songs with no keys, but an important second guitar part).
g.
willingness to work with a "rhythm keyboard player" on songs needing no guitar but needing additional keyboards (another band member plays guitar and keys).
