Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Equipment Sales Representative with experience working with municipalities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting, selling, and writing specifications for a comprehensive line of industrial equipment, including Galfab, Multilift, and Effer Crane, across a designated territory from the Washington DC metro area to North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers within the assigned territory.
• Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Provide customers with product knowledge and technical expertise.
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and other events to promote the company’s products.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
• Preferred 3-5 years of sales experience in the trucking, waste collection, or material handling industry.
• A strong understanding of hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
• Class B or above Commercial Driver's License is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Karmak Inventory program.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
