Parts Counter Salesperson

Colonial Ford Trucks of Tidewater is in need of a professional parts professional to help with our growing business.
Our newest team members will utilize their vast automotive parts experience to assist our service, wholesale and retail customer needs What You Do: Assist technicians, service advisors and walk-in customers by providing pricing and availability as needed Accurately order and track needed parts Answer phone calls providing assistance and prices as needed Process and organize orders for delivery or pick-up Ensures all cash, credit, charge and tax exempt sales are processed as required Receive and ship parts in accordance with company policies Restock inventory daily Ensures all returned parts are properly tracked and identified Other duties as assigned Support departmental goals by: Maintain necessary product knowledge to improve sales of associated / companion parts Establish and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers Improve sales of parts and accessories Build upon existing knowledge of products and skills using available manufacturer training Successful attributes and skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player Ability to minimize and redirect customers frustrations Trainable Outgoing and friendly personality with great customer handling skills Professional appearance CDK experience a plus Strong organizational skills Manufacturer training certifications a plus Benefits Include: Salary and commission that can easily exceed expectations to the motivated individual Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) availability Paid-time-off We also offer a group of supplemental benefit plans including, short-term disability, long-term disability, supplemental life insurance Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * No weekends People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Relocate: * Chesapeake, VA 23323: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
