The *Clinical Director* is responsible for:
The human service, mental health, and substance abuse field.
This candidate will have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
Must be able to complete management of daily operations and delegation to support staff, to include directing the agency mission and overseeing all daily operations across sites and programs.
This individual will feel comfortable reviewing authorizations and responding to peer reviews.
The candidate must be able to meet deadlines and effectively manage an array of ongoing projects.
Must have experience providing supervision and/or management of employees.
Must be able to maintain a compliance system for the agency and supervise an administrative team to ensure the agency operations according to regulatory standards.
Must have knowledge of the areas of need for adults with serious mental illness and youth who are at risk for out of home placement; must be able to work from a person-centered framework when providing training services; must have clinical interviewing skills; must have understanding or ability to train staff in appropriate mental health skill-building, crisis stabilization and/or intensive in-home interventions; must be able to identify clinical risk factors for suicide, violence and other risky behaviors.
Must be able to orient new staff and establish staff schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree in a Human Services Field.
Experience in Leadership.
Willing to pursue continued education efforts to grow with the company.
Marketing experience and/or knowledge of DMAS marketing requirements.
Extensive knowledge and/or experience working with DMAS managed care organizations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of mental health, substance , and residential programs
Promote growth of the organization through expansion of programs and sites throughout the region
Maintain a network of community partners to maintain a consistent process for generating referrals into mental health programs
Function as the administrative team leader to carry out the agencies mission and direct the daily operations of administrative team members
Approve of all hiring decisions and conduct interviews in coordination with the administrative team to ensure a qualified and competent workforce and staffing plan to meet program needs
Hold routine meetings with administrative team to guide daily operations and delegate tasks
Maintain knowledge of DMAS, DBHDS and DHP regulations to ensure operations in consistent with regulatory requirements
Execute daily operations according to agency policies and procedures
Maintain knowledge of DMAS standards and serve as the agency Health & Safety Officer and Compliance Officer for the region
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.
