*Role Description* This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager of General Sales and Production at Five Star Painting of Chesapeake located in Chesapeake, VA.
The Manager of General Sales and Production will be responsible for managing and overseeing sales, production, and customer service.
The General Sales/Production Manager will coordinate and guide residential/commercial painting jobs through the scheduling and execution stages and serve as the focal point for communication among various parties.
This person will ensure the customers’ needs are clearly understood and documented via a written proposal and change orders.
The General Sales Manager will develop a close working relationship with the Owner, consultants and the painting crews to ensure all expectations set forth on the written proposal are met.
He or she will be a critical team member, building long-term customer relationships and generating leads through community partnerships and new customer connections.

* You are responsible for consulting with clients, preparing accurate estimates while growing new relationships and cultivating existing relationships.
* Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all clients and fellow team members.
* Meet with clients and learn about their project(s) to generate accurate and detailed quote(s) for the work.
* Follow up with prospective clients by phone, text, and/or email.
* Track jobs via standard reports and maintain high quality standards via a customer checklist during job close-out.
* Ensure that our clients’ needs and their expectations are clearly communicated and accurately documented on a written proposal.
* Build a local network and prospect for potential clients.
* Work with subcontractor foreman to schedule work and ensure professional, quality job completion.
*This is a commission-based opportunity.
*Salary includes base ($30K) plus commission estimate for first year sales.
