The Community Engagement Coordinator plays a vital role in driving local engagement and growth within your community.
This position involves organizing and executing local events, establishing a presence in multi-dwelling unit (MDU) properties, managing affiliate sales partnerships, and providing training to external and internal customers.
Additionally, it requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support campaigns and adapt local sales strategies based on market trends and competitive intelligence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Be the face of Metronet in your local community
Develop and execute strategic campaigns, including events, sponsorships, partnerships, and community involvement
Create and implement go-to-market strategies for MDU properties and homeowner associations
Manage event logistics, such as deadlines, payments, staffing, and results tracking
Monitor the market, gather customer insights, and engage associates to provide ongoing feedback
Ensure compliance with assigned expense budgets and reporting guidelines
Track, analyze, report, and provide commentary on local campaigns
Identify and coordinate PR opportunities through Corporate Marketing to support local campaigns
Provide exceptional internal customer service and maintain open communication with associates, management, and contractors
Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Sales
2+ years of field marketing, sales, or equivalent experience
Previous experience in the Cable TV, Internet, or Telecommunications industry is preferred
Event Planning/Management, Fundraising, Experiential Marketing, Guerilla Marketing, or Sales experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management capabilities
Ability to translate objectives into actionable campaigns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet software, email, and database software
Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
