Primary Purpose: This position provides leadership, business growth, communication, strategic solutions and direction, and serves as an informational resource to the Towne Insurance Enterprise.
Essential Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and targets for personal lines and high-net-worth – private clients.
Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations and pipeline management.
Responsible for enhancing current sales team structure, workflows, and procedures as it pertains to new business growth including any hiring and overall employee development.
Developing a sales process that promotes a multi-line sales culture and strategic partnership with the bank.
Work closely with the Director of Agency Solutions & Director of Technology to recommend and implement technology that connects our sales teams to create seamless and exceptional customer experiences for our clients.
(Digital strategy, One Towne, and other lead generation tools) Identify areas for process and systems innovation and implement changes to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our sales operation.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Along with Executive Leadership maintain key carrier relationships critical to our retention and growth.
Development of a High-Net-Worth / Private Client Personal Lines sales platform Monitor sales metrics and KPI’s such as conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
Lead regular personal lines sales meetings/conference calls comprised of sales team members and various managers across the organizational footprint to drive increased sales and identify/resolve workflow issues/opportunities to achieve best-in-class results.
Disseminate information to participants or staff as needed.
Achieve target new business and written premium revenue targets as set by the Executive Leadership Team as part of the annual planning process.
Design and implement a sales structure with compensation plans to maximize, capitalize, and achieve growth goals throughout the various regions.
Work with key strategic carriers to develop and align with our growth strategies.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive leadership, providing updates on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
Obey all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Travel and market visibility is expected.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Skills & Competencies: Current P&C license Extensive experience in Personal Lines, including working the High-Net-Worth client base.
In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial insurance large brokerage practices and processes Knowledge of how products and services impact client needs and develop processes to improve quality.
Strong initiative, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities Ability to work independently and with all levels of the organization.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills required to affect change and to build effective working relationships.
Ability to be a self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills.
Advanced knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to travel periodically.
Desired Skills & Competencies: Previous Management experience Previous working knowledge of Insurance Agency Management software programs, preferably Applied software Epic Physical Requirements: Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
