Primary Purpose:
Provide professional service to new and existing clients by assisting the account manager and/ or team leader and processing their requests in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Responsibilities:
Process audits and endorsements.
Check and attach insurance policies in Epic.
Assemble client’s insurance policies for delivery.
Process and issue proofs of insurance (certificates, evidence of property).
Process endorsement requests, direct bill cancellations, and reinstatements.
Obtain loss runs, endorsements, billing, etc.
, from carrier websites.
Attend office/team meetings as necessary.
Participate in carrier website training.
Handle other duties as assigned.
Obeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:
Attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Strong organization and prioritization skills.
An active P&C license or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
Microsoft Products experience (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Desired Skills & Competencies:
Personal or commercial insurance experience.
Experience working with insurance software, preferably Applied Systems.
Experience working in an office setting.
Physical Requirements:
Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
