The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) works with the Business Development Manager, Engineering Manager, National Account Sales Manager, Project Specialist through all aspects of Linx sales operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical and sales support of products while developing brand awareness with customers.
Assist customers with submittals and bill of material quotations and follow up on quotes distributed.
Provide technical support and/or product training to company personnel and/or representatives.
Be a subject matter expert and provide training on pricing portal.
Project tracking, both dollars and schedule.
Attend industry tradeshows and read related publications to gain current market condition information including trends and developments.
Assist with coordination and execution of industry events and customer display centers.
Coordinate the development, distribution and replenishment of all marketing materials and promotional items with the marketing department.
Collaborate with marketing department of social media campaigns.
Identify and track industry events for participation by sales staff.
Assist with coordination and execution of customer facility visits.
EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED Bachelor's degree preferred.
People and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross functional departments.
Problem solving and dispute resolution skills.
Proven ability to identify and eliminate barriers.
Knowledge of construction industry processes including bid and negotiation and reading engineering drawings a plus.
Experience using MS Office Suite AutoCAD experience a plus Proficiency utilizing a computerized system for entering, tracking orders, projects, handling inbound/outbound calls (ERP systems, claim reductions, WMS solutions, Microsoft Project, SharePoint) a plus.
Ability to foster relationships with customers of all levels.
Ability to communicate that is both effective and concise.
