Scaffolding Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
Fill out time cards correctly by knowing the contract and item number(s) of current jobs.
Perform daily inspections, tagging each scaffold correctly.
Attend meetings as requested by the customer.
Know how to write both technical and conditional reports.
Estimate jobs, to include man hours and materials needed for a quote to be submitted.
Report any incidents in a timely manner.
Construct multiple scaffolds, i.
e.
stationary, hanging, and/or rolling platforms, safely using the proper hanging techniques.
Able to withstand environmental factors such as:
Outside weather conditions
High, precarious places
Exposed to fumes and airborne particles
Very loud noise level
Required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms on a regular basis.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
and seek assistance with weights over 50 lbs.
Occasionally perform other physical activities as required, such as:
Stooping
Bending
Squatting
Climbing (including but not limited to, vertical and incline ladders, masts, and kingposts)
Crawling (including but not limited to, through scuttles, manhole covers, tanks, and voids)
Experience Requirements:
Knowledge of OSHA 1915 for Shipyard and OSHA 1926 for Commercial.
10+ years of Scaffold building experience.
5+ years of supervisory experience.
Other Requirements:
Must be able to obtain a Government facility security pass.
Must be able to pass a Drug Screening and Workability Screening.
