Duties
Ensures the economic and efficient operation of the assigned Bowling Center, which includes up to 32 lanes, equipment maintenance and repair, and facilities.
May include snack bar, and/or pro shop.
Directs the day-to day operations of the facility, to include: supervising work, ensuring a safe and pleasurable environment for all patrons, ensuring the cleanliness and good repair of the facility, reporting any damages, mechanical or other breakage or malfunction, and reporting of safety hazards.
Serves as primary fund custodian for the facility, ensuring the safety and appropriate use of funds, ringing/verifying registers, issuing and checking change funds, preparation and/or oversight of Daily Activity Reports and deposits, and assisting with procurement requests, physical asset and/or re-sale/equipment/gear inventories.
Ensures the implementation of higher-level directives and regulations.
Promotes, schedules, and manages the conduct of tournaments, matches, and other special events, and programs necessary resources for the purchase of supplies, equipment and resale merchandise.
May supervise the operation of the pro shop as needed.
Carries out necessary liaison with other staff officials that support Center activities, Bowling League participation, marketing, purchasing, etc.
Acts on internal and patron problems within established guidelines and with minimal adverse impact on functional programs.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
